Playing Together

"Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of.
Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of."

My grand children enjoy playing outdoors. Every morning when they got up from bed, they would run downstairs and looked out of the glass door to check on the weather. Once they think they have accessed the weather condition as fine, they will ask to play outside. They could go without thinking of taking their breakfast, get washed and dressed. No sooner were they out, they were either running in the garden or cycling around on their bikes.

My youngest grand child is still too young to be able to ride a bicycle, so just to satisfy his whining to sit on one, his mother will place him on the back seat. And his mother ensures that bicycle is stationary, for safety reasons.

Having said that, my grand children do get themselves hurt and dirty! Oh well! It’s okay to get dirty. Kids are not happy if they are constantly reminded by grown-ups not to get dirty. It’s become a fact of life that a dirty child is truly a happy child!
