Its Friday!

Thank God it’s Friday! I love Fridays and always look forward to the day. My colleagues and my friends working in the private or government sectors would be planning about what to do whenever the weekend nears! Is it going to be dinner at Best Western Restaurant, San Francisco, and Dave’s Deli or at China-man coffee house? A few glasses of beer or wine or just fizzy drinks often follow dinner!
We planned our weekends and regularly have a lot of activities organised to wind down after a hard day's work!
Well, not lately, for me that is! Every single moment of the day I enjoy and spend more time with them. I love the way they baby talk, fight over each other's toys, learn to say one or two words to form sentences and their antics in trying to imitate what we adults! I love my grandchildren so much to even want to trade my time and theirs with another. Well, that doesn’t mean I got no time for family and friends though. :)
Happy Friday to all and may your day be blessed always.

The Presence of God

I had a very busy day yesterday. My grandson was having asthma bout and the two of us went to see a doctor at Tudan polyclinic to seek treatment for his health problem. He was given a dose of nebulizer and a bottle of anti-biotic syrup; which has to be taken every 6 hourly till that whole stuff finish. So, yesterday to me had been a very tiring and stressful day.
When I woke up this morning I said a little prayer. I looked out of my bedroom's window and praise God for He blessed today with lots of sunshine! It was 06:30 am and I could already see the sun peeping out from over the horizon and smiling to those who greeted it this morning.
Despite having pimples popping out on my face, I want to be thankful for all that God has given me. Be it a hard day's work, lost my composure and presence of mind or a day filled with pleasant joy! An interesting and simple note posted by one avid blogger comes to mind.
Rather than focus on the thorns of life, smell the roses and count your blessings, giving thanks for each one of them.
Rather than walk this earth lightly, walk firmly with determination and leave your mark.
For the ultimate in business, casual or evening attire put on the robe of Christ; it fits a glove but allows room for growth. Best of all, it never goes out of style and is appropriate for any occasion.
Doing these things on a daily basis will certainly make you a more beautiful person.
Peace Is Not The Absence Of Trouble But The Presence Of God.

Baby Pad Is Finally Taking the Cue To Start Posting!

Hello and welcome. Hang around for a while and let’s have a cuppa or two with me while you stop to read my post. I intend to write about some family stories here, so enjoy. Drop me a line if you have anything to say about my posts. Well it don’t really matter much about what you have to comment, even if you want to tell me to buzz off. I welcome both sides and weigh all criticism, good and bad, fairly. :) Have a blessed day always.
~My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies.
And from those who persecute me. Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me for Your mercies’ sake.~ Psalm 31: 15-16
